People would like to believe that lice removal can be found in a bottle of cetaphil facial cleanser. This is one of the lice home remedies that is not only ineffective but actually toxic. The ingredients in cetaphil, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfate, and the three parabens are known to be potentially toxic. While people use cetaphil as a facial cleanser and that is dangerous enough, it is even worse to use it as a lice treatment method because the skin on the scalp is even more abosrbent.
